Save the Date: Culver City Senior Prom!
Get ready for Prom season! The City of Culver City
in partnership with the Culver City Senior Citizens
Association are hosting a Senior Prom! Prom will be
held Saturday, June 7 from 4 PM- 7 PM in the Veterans
Memorial Building. The event will offer a night filled
with dancing, entertainment, food and fun!
More information will be available in the May
newsletter. Stay tuned!
New Class Alert! Bend & Breathe
Join instructor Haruna for a rejuvenating yoga class!
This 6-week course focuses on harmonius postures and
breathwork to support overall strength, balance, and
relaxation. Improve flexibility, boost energy, and
cultivate a deeper sense of well being. Open to
CCSCA Members only.

The Butterfly Effect by ArtsUP! LA
ArtsUP! LA is proud to present, “The Butterfly Effect”- an unforgettable experience for
the audience featuring scenes, songs, and personal stories by visually impaired
individuals from Theatre by the Blind. The presentation consists of interactive activities
with the audience, sight-guiding exercises, moderated question & answer session with
the actors, and discussion about techniques for interacting with the Blind.

Creative Connections: An Arts & Crafts Group for Seniors
Join representatives from SHARE! for a fun and welcoming arts and crafts group designed for seniors who love
to create, connect and explore their artistic side! This group offers a relaxed and supportive environment to
enjoy while working on some crafts. No experience is needed- just bring your creativity and willingness to try
something new! It’s a great opportunity to try express yourself and socialize with others. Supplies are provided,
and all are welcome.
Benita Bike’s DanceArt! Free Performance
Benita Bike’s DanceArt returns to one of its favorite performance venues– The
Culver City Senior Center – on Saturday, April 19, 1:30pm for an engaging
dance performance and discussion about art and dance. See beautiful dancers
perform and feel free to ask any questions that come to mind about dancing and
dancers. Featured is their newest dance “From Where I Sit.”
