Free Flu & Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic
Los Angeles Department of Public Health will be holding a Flu & COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Veterans
Memorial Building on November 12 from 10 AM - 3 PM. No appointment or preregistration required.
Insurance information will be requested, but is not required. To find more thorough vaccine information and
frequently asked questions, please visit: http://vaccinatelacounty.com.
Charging Station
Check out the new phone charging station by the
courtyard desk! The center now has a designated
station where you can
charge your phone without having to bring your
own charger. Iphone
and Android chargers
are available. Please
note that the Center is not
responsible for the loss of,
or damgage to, personal
equipment. The chargers
are located outside the
gym by the library book
shelves.

Save the Date! It’s almost that time of the year. The 2025 CCSCA Membership Drive will occur on the dates
listed below. We look forward to helping you all start the new year off with access to our ongoing programs
and activities!
AARP Tax Volunteers
Are you interested in an excellent volunteer
opportunity? Consider the AARP Foundation Tax Aide Program. Prepare tax returns for colleagues
and others at an AARP tax site. Administrative
support positions are also available. Some acquired
skills are helpful: working with a laptop computer;
some knowledge of income taxes, but expert experience is not required. All training will be provided
during a complete training program in January.
